This Privacy Policy explains how Paws Pop, operating as Paw Pop ("Paw Pop," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use the Paw Pop mobile application and related public website.
Information We Collect
Account information
We collect information used to create and manage your account, such as your email address, name, optional phone number, profile image reference, language, time zone, authentication provider, and account status.
Authentication and security information
We process password hashes or authentication identifiers from Google or Apple, depending on how you sign in. We also maintain session and security information such as refresh-token records, device identifiers and names, IP address, user agent, sign-in timestamps, and token expiration or revocation status.
Pet and care information
You may choose to provide pet profiles and care information, including a pet's name, species, breed, birthday, gender, color, weight, photo, notes, care records, vaccines, vaccine doses, routines, reminder schedules, events, and care history.
Device information and permissions
Paw Pop may access your camera or photo library only when you choose to add a pet photo. The app uses device notification permissions to schedule the reminders you configure. Language preferences and limited application state may be stored locally on your device.
Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you provide in your message, including your email address and the details needed to respond.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and secure your account.
- Provide pet profiles, care records, vaccines, routines, reminders, and history.
- Store and display pet photos you choose to upload.
- Deliver local notifications you configure.
- Remember language and application preferences.
- Respond to support requests.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and protect Paw Pop.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information.
We may provide information to service providers that operate infrastructure needed for Paw Pop, such as cloud hosting, database, object storage, email, and background-job services. These providers may process information only to provide their services to Paw Pop and subject to their applicable terms.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or security issues, or as part of a business transaction where permitted by law.
Google and Apple process information under their own privacy policies when you use their authentication services.
Data Storage And Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including encrypted network connections, hashed passwords, and secure token storage on supported devices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep account and pet-care information while your account is active and as needed to provide Paw Pop. When you permanently delete your account, Paw Pop deletes the account and associated user-owned records from the active database, revokes active sessions, and queues uploaded pet photos for removal.
Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or with service providers, or may be retained when required by applicable law. Paw Pop does not use deleted account data to continue providing an active account.
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account inside the Paw Pop app:
- Open Paw Pop and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the warning, confirm your choice, and select Delete my account.

Children's Privacy
Paw Pop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
International Use
Paw Pop is launching in the United States and Colombia. Information may be processed in countries where Paw Pop or its service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from those in your location.
Your Choices
You may update available profile and pet information in the app, manage device notification permissions through system settings, choose whether to upload a pet photo, and permanently delete your account.
You may contact us to ask a privacy question or request help accessing or deleting your account.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Paw Pop changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are published. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate method.
